About

I’m a field service technician (fuel equipment), but I spent 20 years working in business, design and technology before that. I’ve interesting lived perspectives on class divide and life as a white collar professional and a blue collar bloke. I travelled 1.5 million kilometres on planes all over the planet. I’ve had amazing experiences and seen all walks of life in every place you can imagine.

I solve problems by learning, imagining possibilies, and building stuff– both physical and digital. I am obsessive over good design that solves real human problems. I’m oddly fond of user interfaces, typography, and pixel art. I have a fascination with transportation system design and major public infrastructure.

I’m passionate about equality and social justice for all. I believe in social democracy.

I’m Ben, and I live in the middle of Victoria, Australia. I am an odd fellow, but I steam a good ham.
